Tobacco Dock has launched Tobacco Dock Food, a brand new in-house catering service that has been developed through an exclusive partnership with Tapenade after an extensive tender process.
Tobacco Dock Food will range from street food to fine dining, catering for the needs of all the different types of events happening at the venue (no pun intended).
Alex Campbell, who was headhunted from the Royal Society of Arts and was previously sales and marketing director at Dish, will lead the Tobacco Dock Food team. Joining Campbell will be Harriet Powley, as operations manager.

Known internationally for their unparalleled pedigree in terms of food credentials, Tobacco Dock has had some of the country’s most famous chefs and restaurants serving dishes in the venue, including Monica Galetti, Tom Kitchin, José Pizarro and Dan Doherty and has even hosted Noma’s only pop-up in the UK.

Jonathan Read, Commercial Director at Tobacco Dock, said: “We are building an industry-leading team of food and drink professionals and investing in a state-of-the-art production and service kitchen, an outstanding tasting room and beautiful dining facilities. By creating Tobacco Dock Food and forming this exciting joint venture with Tapenade we are able to offer outstanding quality, flexible choices for the broad range of events we host and better value for money than our competitors.”

Tim Stevens, Managing Director of Tapenade, added: “We are immensely proud to be part of Tobacco Dock Food and partner with Tobacco Dock – their ambition to be the biggest and best in London hospitality, is exactly the kind of challenge that we love. We are putting together a mouth-watering range of menus and packages along with a team of experienced, passionate food and drinks professionals”.

Building on Tobacco Dock’s great food credentials, Tobacco Dock Food is set to lead the way in conference, award, event and corporate dining.
