ILX, the global Best Practice learning company, has announced that it will be exhibiting and presenting at Project Challenge Expo 2015.
Project Challenge Expo is targeted at Project and Programme Managers, Heads of Project Management Office (PMO), senior managers tasked with managing projects successfully and offers an ideal forum to learn about best practices and to network. Visitors to the ILX stand will be able to find out more about a wide range of Best Practice courses such as PRINCE2, MSP, AgilePM, ITIL, Change Management, and how organisations can better support their workforce – and in particular managing complex projects.
Presenting on the first day of the conference, ILX’s Head of Consulting, Mike Saville will be speaking at 14.00 GMT Tuesday 6 October 2015 on the topic of ‘Combined Capability Modelling – actionable outputs from capability assessments’. This seminar will offer case study examples and guidance on how Project Leaders can deliver a step change in performance by combining best practice capability models (otherwise known as the Combined Capability Modelling).
Mike Saville will look at practical examples of combining a number of models including:
· P3M3, also known as the Portfolio, Programme and Project Management Maturity Model – the global standard for assessing organisational capability. It provides a framework for improvement by modelling the attributes of project organisations and mapping development paths.
· Change Management Maturity Model which maps behaviours, practices and processes of an organisation and provides a Blueprint for delivering sustainable outcomes.
· Project Complexity Models, which in combination with other frameworks can amplify the effectiveness of capability modelling.
· Personal Competence Frameworks including the latest version of the APMCF, which enables project professionals to base-line their development and gives resource owners the tools to manage resources more effectively
Russell Kenrick, Managing Director at ILX, comments, “We are delighted to be attending Project Challenge again. Working with a number of our global clients we can see firsthand that projects are increasing in their complexity – both in terms of managing cross border activities, people and deployment of technology. Research has also shown that projects of high-performing organisations successfully meet goals two–and–a–half times more often, and these organisations waste 13 times less money than their low-performing counterparts. Best Practice is no longer an optional choice because it’s proven to unlock the skills based capability that organisations now need.”
ILX works closely with PEOPLECERT, Gold Sponsors of Project Challenge Expo 2015, as well as other industry leaders in certification of training courses.
