Venuemasters revealed last week that blue-chip companies are set to join other high-profile associations at The Academic Venue Show 2016, the only show in the UK dedicated to meeting and accommodation facilities at academic venues.
The event will be moving to the Royal Horticultural Halls in London for its 2016 edition and is expecting a range of top blue-chip organisations such as The Walt Disney Company, Capita, and Pearson, plus high-profile charities including The Ramblers, Macmillan Cancer Support and Kidney Research UK.
“Every kind of organisation loves the quality and value offered by academic venues, and AVS is the place to find the best of them,” says Natalie Williamson (pictured), marketing manager at organiser Venuemasters. “We’re looking forward to welcoming such prestigious visitors this year, and we’re sure they’ll discover many fantastic new venues among our exhibitors.”
Matching the diversity of AVS 2016’s visitors are the show’s exhibiting venues. Event organisers can meet experts from 40 conference, meeting and group accommodation venues, in 30 different urban and rural locations across the UK.The Academic Venue Show takes place on 11th May at the historic Royal Horticultural Halls in Westminster, London. The show will also feature a live seminar by Olympic medal-winner Sharron Davies MBE, exclusive venue rates and special offers, and opportunities to network with hundreds of event industry colleagues.
Based on visitor feedback, 94 per cent of visitors found AVS 2015 useful. Kelly Roberts of NUS Services described it as “a great show to attend if you are looking for new venues with great rates.”
